Aspirations for a New Chapter

Can you believe it? I'm in college!!! After all the hurdles, I'm now in the Symbiosis School for Liberal Arts. The course was started this year, which make me think it was made for me. =D

With college starting on Monday, there are some concerns that come to rise, what am I going to be aiming for at the end of these 4 years? This includes my choice of major and minor, but that isn't yet a concern for me. Right now, it’s the extra-curricular activities that I have my eye on.

Even though my professors would disagree with me on this, this year, the first year is going to be the lightest year as far as work is concerned, so it logically seems to be better to do more activities now than later. (Learnt though experience)

So, what would I be aiming to do?
- Join the Photography Club
- Buy a Cycle, get into shape.
- Learn an instrument
- Join the Student Council
- Continue writing my book and this blog
- Make full use of the Symbiosis Studio which is FREE for students =D
- Learn Archery

So my college is going to have clubs which we can join for a semester or a year. Photography is there for sure, so now the toss up comes up. I only have one choice left. I can choose between film-making and theatre.

The reason I don't say cycling, music, writing and archery club is because I'm planning to learn half of those things, and I'd rather learn comfortably than with the pressure of an event that the club is doing.

Plus, when I look at it, cycling is a done deal; writing the book and blog is also confirmed. I now have to find places to learn an instrument or archery or both!

Then there is cost, I’m planning to buy a cycle so that is going to come mostly (I hope) out of my money. Now, I’m interested in learning the Bass Guitar, cause that bass sound so awesome when it's played, in which case, I’d probably have to buy a guitar, again out of my money. I hope I have enough money.

Well, here's to hoping that I find a teacher for the Bass and if I do, that my parents will fund the payment for the guitar, ever so slightly. Archery can be done later... but it would be nice to do now...

Well it's either the bass guitar, or it’s the drums. \m/

  1. You're better off learning Swordplay.
    Archery's for cowards.
